G1-AX Analytics Engine

Great East London specialises in enterprise level quantitative-finance-processors for creating complex mathematical analytical objects. G1-AX was constructed as the keystone analytics system for the FX trading business of one of the world's most successful investment banks, and went live in the summer of 2008. Features of the system include:

Multi-user support for hundreds of users across dozens of trading desks
Rich user interface with real-time visual updates as users calibrate their models
Sandbox mechanism which lets traders test out new models before promoting them to the business
Automatic user authentication from the desktop, so the system is always ready to use
Seamless asynchronous integration with the client's cross-business market data systems
Scheduler allows traders to build and submit their models even when away from their desks
Built-in expression language allows users spreadsheet-like maths capabilities in a stable environment
Security and auditing mechanism manages ownership and keeps traders' models safe

The G1-AX platform is a formidable technology asset that provides consistency, transparency, robustness, speed, control and precision to the client's critical business processes and the data upon which they depend.

G2-AX is now under construction, taking the original G1-AX concept further to support full equities modelling. With G2-AX users will be able to interactively shape and perfect their equity-market models using multiple data sources and multiple methodologies in a rich visual workspace. The first release of G2-AX is due in late 2008.

G1-FF Front Office Framework

Great East London understands the needs of a client's specific business, and creates software to overcome their specific challenges. G1-FF was a suite of lightweight trading tools created in 2005 for a small hedgefund looking to automate their trading activities with minimal cost and lead time. Features include:

G1-BFC Market Data Querying Tool

Originally deployed in 2004 for a major investment bank, G1-BFC was a fully-featured querying tool to provide access to a leading financial market data vendor. G1-BFC allowed the user to quickly and easily make spreadsheet-based market-data queries from their desktop. The core of the G1-BFC concept has since been re-engineered into numerous market-data-driven systems.

G1-DTX Datacross

Designed in 2004, G1-DTX was a revolutionary peer-to-peer data backbone concept for financial data, allowing departments and institutions to share and trade data seamlessly, either for collaboration or profit. Easy to install, secure and flexible, the G1-DTX concept takes the business data domain to a new level.
